On this mucky Friday afternoon we have taken what we think are the five highlights of the most recent JNLR so you don’t have to.
- Radio Listenership Remains steady year on year with all adults listening yesterday up 1 percentage point
- Today FM win on National – showing growth across All Adults, 15-34’s Housekeepers and HK+
- RTE Radio 1 remains stable as the largest national station, with 2FM managing decline from previous books by showing a small increase in listenership up 3.5 YoY (listened yesterday weekday all adults)
- The Dublin radio market remains as competitive as ever. The big loser was Q102 year on year, with a loss of 24,000 adults each week while FM104 is up 12,000 listeners
- Ireland FM, the new trading model for local IRS stations has had a strong first book and a good year for local stations in general. They have 66,000 additional listeners each week across the 24 stations
A more thorough analysis is on the way but this should tide you over for now!
